Title 11 of the Texas Property Code is the predominant statutory body of law that regulates restrictive covenants relative to real property situated in Texas. Restrictive covenants are limitations on how a property owner can use their property. Condominiums and other properties situated within common interest communities are subject to restrictive covenants that are contained in deeds and/or governing documents. This edition includes updates that became effective in 2022.
